This is great news, a great first step. The challenge for the success of this new journal, i.e., that it will contain only research studies that are both valid and reliable (two key components of legit/honest science), is how to keep the influence of Big Money/Pharma from finding its way in and corrupting it as it has with the once-great medical journals! Humans being humans, money talks; it's a very difficult temptation to resist when more money than you ever imagined is offered to you under the table, especially when it can be offered via secret offshore accounts!!! It almost requires saint-like scientists running their studies. What to do.
