Welcome to my world. I started as a chiropractor in 1973. Borrowed money from my local bank and off I went l. No government money or health insurance. It was hard at first but once word of mouth got around things flourished. I was not beholden to anyone except my patients and of course, the licensing boards.
Would be nice to learn what those practitioners are charging for membership fees. A doctor here locally dropped out of the Borg hospital system and established her own practice. She was planning to charge about $150 per month. That seemed to be way too high for visiting just once a year. Not sure if she's been successful because we opted out of joining and haven't followed up. We would have preferred a much lower monthly (or annual) fee and then being charged an additional amount per visit.
