I love the humor infused in this most terrifying information that RFK Jr has often been expounding about for years and successfully suing drug companies for manufacturing these additive and wrappers in all our food stuffs in modern grocery stores. Pls buy local. Farmers’ markets are your best friends. Eat clean and fresh!

There is nothing like growing yer own, chemical free but I also endorse local farmer's markets.

The benefits from both sustain more than the body. The benefits are beyond measure too.

The mesh bags you rec are from China. Amazon Tips:

1. Whenever you shop on Amazon, go to where it says “one time purchase” or the price area. See where it says “Ships from” and “Sold by.” Click “Sold by” and scroll down to around halfway down the page to the section about the Seller. It will show the address. It’s not foolproof but generally you can see when it’s from China that way.

2. If you sort results by Small Business in results you can also have higher likelihood of more domestic companies.

We are Canadians. Went to a farmer’s market while visiting Palm Springs. A dozen eggs were $16. That’s $22.50 in Canadian dollars. Even for folks living there, how many people with families can afford those eggs? Thankfully our prices in Canada for food seem to be comparable to the USA grocery prices. Those living close to the border would save a lot of money to shop in Canada - of course you won’t be able to buy eggs- the US doesn’t allow those to cross the border.

California is expensive in general, and Palm Springs is where rich people go to spend money, so you would expect to pay top dollar there. I can get a dozen organic eggs at my local Texas farmers market for about 10 bucks. Lots of cities in the US have co-ops you can join as well, might be something for people to look into locally?

Back in 1995, my Mom came to my apartment, grabbed all my pots and pans (teflon and aluminum) and threw them all away. (She was like that). I demanded she replace the 8 pans she threw out with a new stainless steel pan. I still have it today. Thanks Mom!

Damn, she was ON IT! Good for her (and you)! :)

Thank you as always for tackling a fairly overwhelming subject with a generous dose of dry humor. Much appreciated!

I too am a product of 1970s era nutrition staples like Chef Boyardee raviolis and Little Debbie’s washed down with GALLONS of Kool-aid. We have been eating fairly clean for a while but have made a big push in the last year following my hubby’s heart attack. It has definitely improved his health, praise God!

I would recommend looking at clothing as well and try to avoid synthetics in favor of 100% cotton, linen, wool, etc. Workout wear and undergarments are especially notorious for chemicals. I really like Pact Clothing but there are a lot of good offerings.

Thanks for the kind note and congrats on making those changes! My sister is a PA with an advanced degree in culinary medicine (it's an actual thing!) and she gets to see people turning around their lives and getting off all sorts of toxic meds every day. What a gift!!! :)

Wow, culinary medicine! What a wonderful field!

We swapped plastic leftover containers for glass a few years ago. Use ceramic skillets or cast iron. Just a year ago ditched the aluminum bread pans (used for meatloaf not bread) for cast iron.

Wish kiddo didn't love synthetic fabrics so much but 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Use parchment paper instead of aluminum foil in the oven/baking. Aluminum isn't a PFAS but it's not good for us.

No idea if the freezer paper uses actual wax vs mystery plastic so I wrap the food with paper side toward the food, then add a second layer with the waterproof side facing inward so the freezer tape will stick to the outer paper wrap.

Fun research for you, Jenna: I remember finding, lo these many years ago, that wood cutting boards supported far less (none?) bacterial growth than the plastic nasties. I never looked back. And love oiling my wooden board whenever I wipe the excess coconut oil or ghee from my steel frying pan (with a wad of cotton that came in my supplements bottle!).

I wish I were as astute as you! I’m trying to catch up.😊

And to think that it was the alleged inability to fully clean wood boards of bacteria that was used to sell us on the plastic ones. Ridiculous.

Ken Paxton is just phenomenal. We need 49 more AGs like him! Labrador is doing good work in Idaho, but so far won’t touch the health freedom stuff.

True, but I assume it will track me. I only use my gmail for YouTube and never check the email, so maybe I’ll try it. It is so frustrating that everything around us is apt to kill us.
