It is a sad commentary on the demise of Free Speech in America that a medical doctor cannot even broach a subject of tremendous importance to public health without getting completely quashed. A mystery? Nobody knows? Unknown causes? Yeah, right!
Who knows? Perhaps someday some college professor will use THIS article as an example for his class on the subject of Twenty-first Century Censorship of Free Speech— how the authors had to coyly dance around the Elephant In The Living Room subject without actually uttering the offending words: "It’s the Vaccine, stupid!" If this isn't an example of "The Emperor's New Clothes", I don't know what is!
So annoying that my unvaccinated, healthy daughter cannot get a good job (despite openings everywhere), because here in Canada, the dirty secret is that though they dropped mandates and allowed some workers to come back, new workers are under a new contract that says vaccination is mandatory now. Also in BC, our healthcare workers were never allowed back which is contributing to the ballooning healthcare crisis.
It would have to be some exogenous biologic that was given to a large fraction of the population in roughly 2021....what could it be...can't think of anything off the top of my head...global warming?
I’ll never forget the NPR article in summer of 2021 “Americans are sicker than ever. Hospitals are full. What can be causing this?” Gee, if only a radical new variable had been “injected” into the equation recently, perhaps we could form a reasonable hypothesis.....
The reason is beyond COVID shots, especially for the disability claims. The increase is in the number of adults with auto-immune diseases due to continual over vaccination -- and increasingly it is discovered that more diseases have an auto-immune etiology. For example, I have a 40 year old friend with Miniere’s disease. She was a computer programmer, but now cannot walk without a walker, and is fully disabled.
Maybe that is why our "replacement" labor force are not vaccinated ?

A comparison to past downturns should be included.

Is this just a "US" issue or "world" issue? What about central Africa nations with low vaccination rates?
