Yes, perhaps Oster has everyone's best interests at heart.
But I doubt it.
Instead of "amnesty" for all, I suspect that Oster is setting up a structure for a Get Out Of Jail Free card for all those we might now deem to be murderers -- people who read the data, who knew the truth of the seriousness of COVID, who knew the truth of effective inexpensive therapeutics, who knew the dangers of the vaccine, and yet still pushed all the deadly responses to COVID in spite of all they knew.
There seems to be no mention in Oster's article of how we might get to the bottom of what went wrong and how we might prevent it happening again. Readers of this substack will have their own opinions. Western culture can't afford a repetition of the catastrophe of the past 3 years.
It's possible that Oster believes honest enquiry can begin only when we're all on speaking terms again and that her amnesty will be a beginning. I believe the hurt runs too deep and it may be many years before society is able to impartially evaluate what's happened, by which time the guilty will have moved on!

I’m struggling with forgiveness which my faith calls me to do, however without true repentance a half-baked apology like the Oster article to me is meaningless. And we absolutely need to hold accountable public officials who dictated policy and obfuscated data - Drs Collins, Fauci, Birx, Walensky, the list is long.
I am really struggling with family members who, unlike The Osters of the world, I have to live with on a daily basis! All attended a family wedding this past weekend which I was not invited to as an unvaccinated, unboosted person … what is fully vaxxed these days?! The rule set for this wedding was vaccinated and boosted, again whatever that means in this never ending kabuki dance! My husband came home feeling a bit under the weather but insisting it was just a cold. After sneezing and coughing his way all over the house for a couple of days, I asked - have you considered that it may be covid? A couple of hours later after testing positive for covid he asked if I had any of that Ivermectin stuff. I gave him some of my private stash which he took with a mumbled thanks. His brother has since tested positive, and another family member has confessed to having a “bad head cold” - no word yet on the others.
I’m at the point of hoping all the wedding guests get a mild case, including the bride & groom, so I can ask - Can we finally put a stake in the heart of “it’s a pandemic of the unvaccinated”? … and an apology would be nice as well but I’m not holding my breath.
Thanks to the FLCCC docs and their protocols which have kept me, a 71 yo, safe and covid free to this day and sane to boot — y’all rock!!
Great editorial! Basically, the CDC etc need to stop assuming and treating us like idiots and most importantly, STOP the fear mongering.... it’s not helping your obvious guilty asses. Tell us the truth and trust us to be reasonable.... see how that works??

I watched the FLCCC weekly update with Dr. Marik and Dr. Kory and the nurses and the generously cheerful Betsy Ashton, and I am so grateful for how all of you bear up under the terrible continuing load you all carry. You have all been our captains through this. I think of Whitman's elegy for Lincoln "Captain, O my captain". Lincoln, capable of such deep mourning that he wouldn't leave the room where his dead son lay, led the ship of America through the Civil War. The social fabric is indeed in tatters. Millions are on their knees as Neil Oliver has said. So it is Thanksgiving, and I don't give thanks for much, but I give thanks for the FLCCC, and I hope you all get to feast and rest and restore some of the social fabric through those small individual familial moments. Our enemies are dead inside, but our hearts all ring like bells with gratitude for all you have done. (And don't get too thwacked with that turkey serotonin as we need you .lol)

Convincing those who are willfully blind to see is incredibly difficult. Convincing those who are willfully blind AND have bad intentions is completely futile.
After nearly three years of trying, I’ve been largely unsuccessful in turning the true Pfarma believers into critically thinking skeptics. Many of my family and friends considered my efforts to learn truth and share the facts to be political (they were NOT political). Now, some have simply “moved on.” Others have died prematurely or been injured by the jabs. Still others are now contending with the inevitable Covid / Paxlovid merry-go-round and an uncertain future.
Humans will never learn as a species; we are herd animals, just as sheep 🐑 and cattle 🐄 are. A few do venture bravely away from the herd; but most herd members create untold harm until they are either gone (inevitable but slow) or miraculously realize their errors in judgment (rare but equally slow).
Those who are willing to think critically and challenge their own beliefs are often persecuted and destroyed. FLCCC knows that only too well. Dr. Robert Malone frequently and appropriately quotes St. Augustine: “The truth is like a lion. You do not have to defend it. It will defend itself.” My unfortunate corollary is: “Truth can only defend itself if people are willing to see and hear it. Therein lies the challenge.”
Forgiveness following apology is appropriate for some. Those folks were deceived by those in positions of power and trust and never learned the truth. But those who knew the truth and proceeded to intentionally wreck any aspect of free-human life anyway should never be forgiven or forgotten.
The problem continues into scientific articles which continue to placate with “the vaccines are effective and safe” in the intro while then going on to show that they’re not.

When I travel, I now worry that the oncoming driver might have been over jabbed with poison and pass out! Also, when on a plane I hope they're now using an EXTRA CO-PILOT in case SADS or Myocarditis crops up! More likely as each jab increases the potential of both calamities.
Today I donned my weekly grocery shopping uniform which includes a Bright yellow Tee-Shirt with 'Covid UnVAXXED - WE LIVE LONGER' (front) and 'Covid Unvaxxed CLUB' on the back.
I passed a Covid Vax Centre, now better known as an 'Extermination Centre' for the unknowing masses. Or perhaps, 'the showers' like in WW2.
At Reception I was asked "Have you come for your booster?"
I asked if they had any information on Vax Injuries & Vax related Deaths. I was given a Pfizer brochure that downplayed everything detrimental to their highly profitable POISON.
This proved that Informed Consent No Longer EXISTS and that the medical Hippocratic Oath to "DO NO HARM" no longer applies in the UK.
After being noticed by a few Lemmings I left feeling I had managed to get my message across to at least a few intended victims of the World Depopulation Program.
LIABILITY must be reintroduced for Vax makers = COMMON SENSE.
Then this farce will end suddenly, Pfizer will be BANKRUPT and life will get back to normal!
