"Imagine a vaccine so safe and effective that you have to be threatened to take it for a disease that is so deadly that you have to be tested to know you have it." Sign seen during the Canadian Trucker's Strike in Ottawa, Jan-Feb 2022.

Great article! Another term they used that started me to question the covid narrative was when they shut everything down and called it "the new normal". There was nothing normal about closing businesses, telling people to stay indoors etc.

Jenna,

In our house, those who tore hair, broke the favorite Barbie or otherwise denigrated their siblings were required to sit on the bottom step of our staircase until they could put into words what they were sorry for to the affected sibling. Usually there needed to be a two-way exchange. It takes two to tangle and words do matter.

This was a part of a larger umbrella ☔️ family issue of being committed to not ever go to bed 🛌 angry with one another. As a mother, I always thought, like you, that the: ‘I’m sorry’ could too easily be spoken and it cheapened the grace needed to forgive. Alex Vasquez recently addressed what he believes constitutes an ‘adult apology’ within his stack.

It feels that this has been a war of words dating back a long time. Far longer than most of us were aware. As I paid closer attention however it was all ‘in the words’...

In 2020, I have Meryl Nass to thank for pointing out the words of Nancy Messonier, MD--that the feds have 11 databases they monitor and are committed to building the safest vaccine surveillance system yet for the C19 injectables.

And Meryl also pointed out that in October, 2020, Marion Gruber, MD who was chairing the FDA committee examining the Pfizer-product-in-development made the matter-of-fact-statement that the committee would need to review the animal trial data, as all previous corona vax products had failed in animal trials.

The FDA was honest with words in its press release about effectiveness--once. And then the term ‘effective’ became as fungible as a British monarch’s attire. The FDA certainly was not going to follow its own regulation to report absolute risk reduction and they certainly were not going to identify the end outcome that injectables were effective to achieve-- lest that kind of specificity reveal that the world had been conned into accepting the most expensive injectable product to decrease cold symptoms (Dagan, et al., 2019, Table S6).

And as you pointed out, Americans by the tens of thousands did not reflect upon the word : mandate. They did not ask-- where is the origin of the authority of the ‘mandators’. They did not ask if this product was still an experiment and what words describe the necessary ethics governing experiments.

People also forgot or never knew that words have moral weight and authority. Words actually have spiritual power--as the truth is spoken.

I stated to a school superintendent as ridiculously scientifically debunked mandates were renewed---that he was leading a medical experiment. I made reference to the 70 year old document defining medical experimentation. I asked for the safety data.

There was silence.

And then a repetition of a mandate if my child wanted the privilege to receive an education.

It was clear which words were hollow.

Words matter but they are not enough. We must also be willing to stand firm in the truth.

All my words would have been just hot air without the courage of my son. After understanding where things stood, he took his beautiful naked face into a sea of half faces, eyes staring out at him, every day, all day long for weeks on end.

My son showed me that our words must be accompanied by the courage to face adversity in all its many forms.

We’ll, as I recall, the Tower of Babel worked well once before to confuse, enrage and divide people. Do we think this current division just emerged? Or is it the part of an immense jigsaw puzzle of a “plan”?

case—always meant a symptomatic person, now is anyone testing positive (asymptomatic included)

pandemic—historically referred to simultaneous worldwide deaths in huge numbers, now only about illness

vaccine—historically designed to prevent infection, now something that merely stimulates immune response

anti-vax—historically in regard to vaccines only, then included anyone who is actually pro-vax yet anti-mandate, now includes anyone who opposes just some vaccines, like say, the flu or C19 boosters

immunity—historically “obtained after natural infection or vaccination,” changed to through vaccination only

herd immunity—historically meant a degree of natural immunity, changed to achieved through vaccines only

terrorism—suddenly now includes anyone involved in the “proliferation of false or misleading narratives that undermine trust in government institutions,” including in regard to C19 (which means that merely openly questioning your government or attempting to debate their version of science in any way makes you a terrorist!)

"case—always meant a symptomatic person, now is anyone testing positive (asymptomatic included)"

Early on, a percent positive number was eagerly reported and states used 5% as a measure.

Early on, covid tests required a prescription so one should expect high positives as a doctor suspected covid.

A percent positive number can only make sense if ALL people are tested, continuously, and the tests have a very low failure rate.

Lies, damn lies and statistics.

I almost cannot stand any admonition to “be safe” or any description of any thing as “safe” or “effective.”

When did Safety become the primary value and driving determinant of how we live our lives??

As for sugar making kids hyper, I bet most of the studies alleging this not to be true were funded by the sugar or processed food industry. Ask any parent, and they will assure you that too much sugar creates all manner of poor behavior in children. Also, many adults who switch from a convenient to a low carb way of eating report improved focus.

^This^. I get pretty cringy these days with all the talk about “safety” these days. As if the wide world out there is some dark dangerous place. (Actually it does seem to be getting that way) Nothing has ever been accomplished in this world just by playing it safe.

Expand full comment

And yes, the world has become quite dark and dangerous. But primarily the danger is to our souls and spirits. The remedy for this is not cowering in fear but to acknowledge the unseen foes and to take up the armor of God as Saint Paul described in his letter to the ancient Ephesians, Ephesians 6.

We admire John Wayne's characters, and Matt Dillon of Gunsmoke, and the Lone Ranger, John Paul Jones ("I have not yet begun to fight") and Patrick Henry not because they acted safely but because they acted with courage and bravery in times of mortal danger and great need.

Unfortunately, the abuse of the phrase "safe and effective" has caused a family member to be extremely skeptical of even longstanding natural "medicines" that work outside the biomechanicochemical paradigm with which we are familiar. Mind you, this person is skeptical of most pHarma claims, and uses many supplements. But cannoli/will not accept the "historically demonstrated as safe" and known to be generally efficacious without "proof." Unfortunately the means of that proof do not lend themselves to RCTs, thus, the disbelief persists.

In a sick way, the planning and execution that went into this whole mind and body manipulation was astounding. How easily we all were for lack of a better term domesticated!

The WHO also changed the meaning of pandemic--they took out "severity" of the disease as a criteria allowing them to declare "a global pandemic" which to most people sounded pretty scary. They couldn't have called it that under their old guidelines because it wasn't severe; and they changed the meaning of vaccinated--hospitals didn't count someone as "fully vaccinated" until 2 weeks after being jabbed, which allowed all kinds of counting tricks.

Well done and phunny; however, the words of truth we all have an affinity for will one day have us branded legally as domestic terrorists, arrested, and held without bail or trial, in defiance of the Constitution, like so many "insurgents" being held now in the DC dungeon. It won't be so phunny then, so we must stop it now - refute and refuse!
